Heart Hospital cardiologists and surgeons, working at OSF Saint Francis
Medical Center, were the first in Central Illinois to perform many
cardiac procedures including the first catheterization,
angioplasty and drug-eluting stenting. Thousands of successful
procedures are performed each year with 95 beds dedicated exclusively
to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac disease.
Our commitment to healthy hearts is second to none. Cardiac
disease prevention and heart healthy education is provided through
our cardiac rehabilitation and wellness programs offered through
